Here's inspiration to get motivated to eat healthy even if you have your body trained to crave artificial flavors. These few treats are tasty, satisfying and good for you!

Fruit Smoothie Recipe

(sweet treat & satisfies daily fruit servings)

Blend these ingredients together:
2 cups water
½ banana
¼ apple (leave skin on)
¼ pear (leave skin on)
½ cup frozen mixed berries
½ cup frozen mangos or peaches
½ cup grapes
½ orange
Should be thick and cold. Makes enough for 4 persons, keeps for 24 hours in fridge.

Heavenly crockpot oatmeal
Cook these ingredients on low overnight: 
1 T coconut oil, olive oil, or butter
½ banana diced
2 cups water
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup 7 grain cereal
½ t salt
1 T honey or agave
½ apple or peach diced
¼ pear or plum diced
2T walnuts or sunflower seeds

Naturally sweet but you can top w/pat of butter & drizzle w/honey or agave.

 Kimmer's Fully Loaded No nut Cookies
Combine in mixing bowl:
1/4 c coconut oil
1/4 c butter
1/4 c agave or honey
1/4 c succanat
2 eggs
2 t vanilla
2 1/2 c oatmeal flakes
1/2 c low gluten flour or rice flour
1 t baking soda
1/2 t salt

Hand mix in these:
1/2 c carob chips
1/4 c no sugar coconut flakes
1/4c minced dates
1/4 c sunflower seeds
1/4 c pumpkin seeds

Refrigerate for 30 minutes, then place dollops on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 335 F for 13 minutes.
Homemade Hot “Cocoa” 
•¼ cup unsweetened Carob powder
1/4cup honey or agave
•⅓ cup hot water
•⅛ tsp salt
•4 cups coconut, almond, or soy  milk (vanilla or plain)
•1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1. Combine the carob powder, honey or agave, water, and salt in a medium saucepan.
2. Over medium heat, stir constantly until the mixture boils. Cook, stirring constantly for 1 minute.
3. Stir in the milk and heat, but do not boil.
4. Remove from the heat and add vanilla; stir well. Serve hot. Makes approx. 5 c.
