Botanicals are plant based medicines classed as food supplements in the USA. High quality brands have been  and they are more bioavailable for the body and tend to have less adverse reactions. Botanicals have been used for centuries and were more commonly used before synthetic versions by pharmaceutical companies came along.

Ashwaganda

This adaptogen helps with providing a calm. Commonly used for stress. Adaptogens support the ability of an organism to cope with stress and helping to conserve energy. Also is known to lower blood sugar levels, reduce cortisol, boost brain function and help fight symptoms of anxiety and depression. It is anti-inflammatory.

Dandelion

Dandelion can help to fight inflammation and boost immune system. Eaten in a salad or made into a tea or taken in capsule form; it decreases water retention, helps detoxify, and is full of vitamin C. Although though of as a common weed it is known to soothe digestive problems, boost liver health, control diabetes, and prevent sun damage.

American Ginseng

This natural stimulant can help improve focus and concentration along with decreasing daytime fatigue. Also useful in treating headaches, fever, indigestion, and infertility.

Garlic

Helpful in improving digestion, decreasing gas and bloating, and helps decrease sore throats when added to warm drinks. Improvement in digestions supports mental health.

Licorice Root

Licorice root may have potent antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial effects. Early research suggests that, as a result, it may ease upper respiratory infections, treat ulcers, and aid digestion, among other benefits.

Noni

Oregano oil

Papaya Enzymes

Useful in helping w/improving digestion w/meals and helps w/bloating, gas, and stomach aches. Can also help decrease muscle soreness and headaches caused by muscular tension. Supports healthy nutritional absorption which supports mental health.

Rhodiola

Is an adaptogen that helps decrease stress in the body. Helps reduce fatigue, exhaustion and anxiety in just a few days of use. Helps improve symptoms of burnout. 

Slippery Elm

Helps coat the GI track and soothes sore throats. Instrumental in placing in drinks or smoothies to help restore gut health. which in turn helps improve mental health. 

Tumeric

This spice is a potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant which is linked to improving symptoms of depression and arthritis. It is commonly used in Ayurvedic medicine to treat inflammation inside and out. Curcumin is best absorbed in the body when combined with a small amount of black pepper. It is fat soluble making it best when combined with a fatty drink or meal. 

Valerian Root

Useful for providing a sense of calm, also works to decrease nerve pain, and headaches and is extremely useful in initiating sleep at higher doses taken before bed. Helps treat insomnia and reduce nervous tension caused by anxiety.
