Self-Care Matters
When we neglect ourselves, our physical, mental, and spiritual health suffers. That bleeds into our work, school, and relationships. We get burnt out, irritable with others, experience poor sleep, and have low moods. Self-care a practice which helps an individual take care of their mental, emotional, and physical health. It is a conscious activity or practice that improves one's physical, mental, and emotional health. It often encourages self-improvement, promotes rest and relaxation. Benefits derived from self-care include improved self-esteem and self-awareness, increased positive life outlook, and healthier relationships.
